Terms & Conditions of sale.
For online and account sales
Below are listed our terms and conditions for online and account sales,and it is important that you read and understand them if you have any queries we are only too happy to answer them.

Acceptance of orders:
All orders are accepted by us subject to these conditions of sale. No Account variation of these conditions will be accepted by us unless previously agreed
in writing, orders will only be binding upon receipt of written confirmation from the company or individual organisation Ignition Leads Direct
reserve the right to refuse any order either written or received online when placed through our web sites.
Minimum order:
All orders are accepted on the understanding that as a company we have a minimum online order value of £55.00 net plus VAT orders under this value will incur a delivery charge as stated when placing an online order, account orders under the stated company terms may also incure an admin fee to cover the cost of processing the order this is at the discretion of the company.
VAT:
Where applicable VAT will be charged at the rate prevailing at the date of despatch of the goods.
Details & Specification:
Details and specification may change withought prior notice. Ignition Leads Direct reserve the right to alter any specification of any given product, and to withdraw any item withought any explanation or notification.
Cancellation:
The buyer may only cancel an order at the company’s sole discretion.
New Accounts:
Applications for new trade accounts must be accompanied by the name and address of two trade references a copy of your headed stationary and the customer bankers name and address.
Force Majeure:
Neither party shall be liable for any default due to any act of God,War,Strike,Lockout,Industrial action,Fire,Flood,Drought,Tempest, or other event beyond the reasonable control of either party.
Overdue Accounts:
Orders received from an account customer whose account is overdue will not be processed until the account is settled in full, Interest may be charged charged under the late payment act 1998 at 4% above HSBC base rate.
Prices:
The right is reserved to alter prices without prior notice, all goods will be invoiced at the price agreed when the order was placed.
Shipping:
All account orders in excess of £150.00 are carriage free within mainland England, orders less than this value will incur a nominal shipping and packing charge subject to company discretion, online orders are subject to there own charges based on net order value , account customers receiving specially agreed prices on orders will incur a nominal shipping and packing charge subject to company discretion.
Claims:
Customers claims for shortages and for breakages must be made within seven days of receipt of goods quoting the delivery note or invoice number, no claims outside the aforesaid time will be entertained.
Non-Receipt:
Customers must advise us of non-receipt of goods in writing within three days of receipt of invoice: no claim outside this time can be accepted.
Goods Returned:
Subject to our prior agreement goods will only be accepted back for credit or replacement providing the goods were not obtained specially and that they are in sound and saleable condition, the address of the sender must be enclosed with each package accompanied by an advice note showing full data, return delivery costs are the sole responsibility of the customer unless agreed beforehand at the company’s discretion.
A handling and re-stocking charge of 15% will be made for this service.
Goods Ordered:
All goods will remain the sole property of Ignition Leads Direct until payment is received in full
Ignition Leads Direct reserve the right to uplift goods if payment is not forthcoming.
Property:
The property is the goods supplied by Ignition Leads Direct these shall remain the property of Ignition Leads Direct until such time as payment in full has been received Customers will not be entitled on any goods to withhold payment, Every effort is made to ensure that goods are of the highest quality, No claim will be considered on the grounds of quality unless notified in writing within 7 days of receipt of the relevant goods.
Payment Terms:
Customers that have account terms with Ignition Leads Direct invoices must be paid ( 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise stated )
Should our terms be exceeded this may result in your account being placed on hold and additional interest charged. to your account at the rate of 4%
above HSBC bank base rate in accordance with the late payment act of 1998, We also reserve the right to increase prices by 5% in cases of persistent late payments.
